JUST COMPLETED - EVERYONE REACHED THE TOP -- Kilimanjaro 2010

dsc_0834Scheduled for February 1-10.  Join Brad and Tonya on a trip to the roof of Africa!  This will be a wonderful trip to the highest mountain in Africa via the Rongai Route - on the rarely visited northern slopes of Kilimanjaro.  This trip is already full, however we will be returning to Kilimanjaro during the summer of 2010.  To learn more, please view our brochure here.

Not interested in Kilimanjaro...join one of our other trips or contact us to begin developing your own custom journey!

Thailand
December will find Tonya and Brad in Thailand, climbing on the island of riley beachKrabi.  A fantastic spot on the map, where no motor vehicles are allowed, and climbers scale cliffs directly above the ocean waters.

Annapurna II & IV Doubleheader!!!

annapurna2-2In the Spring of 2011, Tonya and Brad will attempt the first American ascent of Annapurna II, in the Nepal Himalaya.  This is the 16th highest mountain in the world and has seen only 16 people on top.  NO AMERICAN and NO WOMAN has ever reached the top.  They will also be attempting Annapurna IV - which has only seen one American ascent.  Unlike many other Himalayan peaks, these mountains have no fixed lines to the top, no crowds or standard routes, no teams of Sherpa support breaking the trail.  This will be a true exploration into the unknown!

JOIN US ON A TREK INTO BASE CAMP.  This will be a fantastic journey to a remote mountain valley in Nepal, where no other trekking groups travel.  We have been to this base camp area twice before, and feel it is one of the most beautiful mountain cirques in the world.  On our first trip in, even the locals were unsure of how to reach camp!  Call or email us for details, pricing and photos from past trips.

Lhotse - Spring 2012

lhotse2Tonya and Brad will be traveling to Nepal in an attempt to climb Lhotse - the world's 4th highest mountain, and neighbor to Mt. Everest.  Lhotse is rarely climbed, and the final push to the summit involves some very demanding, technical climbing on ice, rock and snow through a narrow couloir.  Base Camp and much of the lower section of the climbing route is shared with those climbing Mt. Everest. This promises to be a great adventure.
